We have tried to make this user friendly. Ways to exercise in 10 or 12 minutes a day or even 3 days a week. Ways to shop and get organic and natural foods and produce even on a tight budget. Cleaning products that are not just less expensive than common cleaning products, but are non-toxic and much healthier.

After many years of high-stress work and an unhealthy lifestyle, Debbie developed numerous health problems, including Fibromyalgia and Myofascial Pain Syndrome, which finally forced the issue that she needed to make some very major changes in her life. Many of the medicos that she saw just recommended pain meds and other drugs to relieve the symptoms. But rather than mask the problem, Debbie wanted to discover the root causes and fix them.
She did, but it wasn’t that easy – mostly because she just didn’t know enough about good nutrition, diet and living a healthy lifestyle. So she cracked the books and surfed the internet and visited many types of docs to learn how to recover her health.
As a result Debbie has studied a wide array of books and materials on the subjects of health and nutrition. After learning so much she thought maybe she could save you a lot of time and effort and make it easier for you to improve and enhance your way of life by summarizing and condensing and putting some of the most important issues into easy formats. Her goal has been to be able to communicate to others the simple basics of healthy living and compile the information so that it is easy to assimilate and use. Debbie doesn’t claim to have all the answers. But she definitely has some good ones that could certainly help anyone.
There is a concept that can be applied to all aspects of healthy living that greatly simplifies things and makes it so much more doable to improve your quality of life long term, without trying to make huge or radical changes. If you make subtle, small changes in a positive direction, but you work these simple changes into your lifestyle and practice them on a regular basis for years and decades to come – those simple, easy changes can have huge positive effects.
If you conceive of a ship that changes its course by just a degree or two, that change, stretched out over time will bring you to a completely different place than where you were originally headed.
“For a long time I thought I had to make drastic changes and get FAST, now now NOW results. But I found it very hard to make those radical changes and when I did embark on a more drastic diet or tough exercise program, I certainly couldn’t maintain them for any length of time. As a result, I might lose a bunch of weight fast or get through a very rigorous exercise program a few times or manage to drink some strange concoction for some days or weeks. I would be elated that I was doing something that was really good – but it would inevitably recoil back in some way – as I could not sustain it. On a longer term basis I found that these “great” changes were, at best, a waste of time or worse, actually had negative results.” – Debbie Baumgarten
There must be thousands of diets, diet theories and diet books. After reading and trying tons of them, Debbie has gleaned some fairly consistent points common amongst many of the most successful diets that can be easily followed. She’s not trying to create her own diet, but rather trying to gather some of the most important elements from those diets that have been most successful on a long term basis that can be followed and sustained for overall improved health. These important points can be worked into anyone’s regimen, one or two at a time, as simple lifestyle adjustments for life long improved health.
Similarly, there are thousands of exercise theories, programs and options. If you are young and more resilient, then some of the more rigorous programs may work well for you. But if you work long hours and are raising a family, maybe you don’t have the time or energy needed for such programs. Or maybe you are a bit older, or a bit overweight, or just aren’t interested in exercising. Debbie has found proven exercise programs that can be done in under 10 minutes a day right in your bedroom, with no special equipment or videos, that are very easy to do. And no matter what kind of shape you are in, you can follow them. Done consistently, for 10 or 12 minutes a day minutes, these simple programs will gradually get you into excellent physical shape and keep you there.
